Applications for Fall 2027 open in October.
The final deadline to apply for a Fall 2027 start is June 16, 2027. Applicants are encouraged to apply before the final deadline, particularly if they have international transcripts, as all required application documents must be submitted prior to the term start date. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis as they are received.

As part of your application, you will be required to submit the following:
- Statement of Purpose – 750-1000 words
- Academic Writing Sample – An academic essay or other piece of writing that demonstrates your ability to develop an argument and engage with secondary sources. (Minimum 5 pages, double-spaced)
- Resume / CV
- Names and Contact Information of Two Recommenders – At least one recommender should be a professor or someone who has taught you in some capacity.
- Official Transcripts – Important note: Applicants with international transcripts will be required to provide an international transcript evaluation according to University of Dallas specifications and should submit their application early to ensure adequate processing time.
- $50 application fee – Collected by the University.
GRE scores are not required.
- Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent degree from a Jewish religious institution) before beginning this program.
